Riva Oboler was a Medicine
nurse in Bikur Holim hospital in Riga. She married Moses Bach. Riva and her husband Moses Bach were exiled to
Siberia from about 1940-45, not to prison but for what they could
contribute there professionally. He was an engineer and she was a
surgical nurse. When they returned to Latvia they were not allowed to
live in Dvinsk, so they settled in Riga. In about 1963 Moses died and
Riva retired and moved to Israel. She died around 2007.
