Mendel Usdin was born to Leib ( brother of Khaim Ehimevich, my Great Great Grandfather's brother. Died in 1871) on May 27, 1877. Leib was born in ca 1850 . In 1875 he lived in Sirotino, Polotsk district (now Belarus).
Mendel's mother was Beila, daughter of Mendel.

Mendel was married to Fruma born in 1876 and daughter of Aron Urgant.
They had children:

- Zalman (Ziama), born in 1905
- Gilka (Gilia), born in 1908
- Zavel, born in 1913
- Moisey , born in 1915
- Folia, born in 1918, died in 2001 in Bavaria.
