Greiman Znaimer was born to Shmerel on June 24, 1878 in Goldingen (Kuldiga). He was known as Jakob.
He was a labourer and had a kiosk at Rozhu Lauk 13 in Libava( Libau and now Liepaya)
He was married to Dorothy, born on March 1, 1889 to Samuil Markus in Klaipedia, Lithuania.

Greiman Znaimer died of a heart attack shortly after the death of his son, Hirsch-Lew, and his son-in-law, Oscher-Michael Schelkan .
His wife , Dorothy died in Aushwitz. "Dora was taken away from Sigi, her daughter [the Nazis killed the old people because they couldn't work]. Sigi presumed that she was buried in a mass grave at Auschwitz, or she may have been killed in Riga" (from this site)

Hirsh Leib Znaimer

 Hirsh- Leib  was born  on July 12, 1915( Julian calender, which is July 24 now) in Liepaja to Greiman and Dorothy Znaimer. He was circumcised by the officiant Markus Ilion, who was the Ritual Slaughterer, on July 31 (Gregorian calender).

He was a locksmith and a member of the Hachshara (The Zionist Youth Movement).
During the war he was in Riga, suggesting that he may have been arrested and killed as late as 1943 or 1944, but according to the page of testimony submitted to the Yad Vashem by his sister he was killed in Liepaja on July 22, 1941

Sigrid Quick, born Znaimer

Sigrid, known as Sigi was born on December 12, 1916 (Gregorian calender) probably in Liepaja to Greiman and Dorothy Znaimer.
In 1944 she was at the K. Z. Stutthof Concentration Camp.She was liberated at Waabs, near Eckernforde, Germany.

She lived in Wimbledon, London, UK where she was a nurse and Secretary at the synagogue for 22 years. She was also Secretary to the Ladies Guild and Friendship Club.
She died on August 26, 1998 in Morden, Surrey, UK.
